Founder & Head Chef
Lachlan Cook is the founder and head chef of Gourmet2Go. He has been cooking professionally since he was 16, spending most of his career in hatted restaurants — the kind of kitchens where standards aren't negotiable.
The idea for Gourmet2Go came from a personal frustration. While working two jobs and relying on a meal delivery service to get through the week, Lachlan kept thinking the food he was eating simply wasn't good enough — and that he could do better. So he did.
With years of experience in fine dining, Lachlan brings a deep passion for culinary excellence to every meal. Committed to using only fresh, high-quality ingredients with no added artificial preservatives, his goal is to make gourmet dining convenient and accessible — transforming mealtime for busy professionals and families across Melbourne.
